Background
My mother and father taught me Phil. 4:13 when I was just a child. Growing up, I was always the smallest guy and last person chosen for a team. Often I was discouraged by this but my parents would always tell me that "If you trust the Lord and believe in His ability to work through you, nothing is impossible." In fact, CAN'T was a word seldom, if ever, used in our household.

When I was 12, my parents sought to purchase a river front lot. At the time, I remember my mother taking my brother and me to the lot and telling us that we had to go the center of the lot and pray that the Lord's will be done. All I could think about were the sticker briers, weeds, and spider webs that we would have to go through. Needless to say we went to the center of the lot and prayed for the Lord's will. Several months later, He blessed us with the lot and a house.

A few months before incorporating VirtuGolf, Pastor Mark Correll of Cathedral of the Cross was teaching about the tabernacle. He used II Samuel 6:17 as a reference for seeking the Lord's will in our lives. The Hebrew word for midst used in this scripture means the exact center. The Israelites placed the Ark of the Lord in the exact center of the tabernacle where they could present offerings unto the Lord. I was immediately reminded of the time my mother taught me about seeking the Lord's will and keeping him in the center of my life.

The cross in the golf ball emphasizes the point of keeping the Lord in the center of our lives. No matter the circumstances or trials and tribulations that come our way, we must always keep the Lord in the exact center of our lives and we can accomplish all things through him.
